Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 05, 2024 at Silver Creek Baptist Church for Joy West Wallace, 88, of Foxworth, who passed away Monday, July 1, 2024. Interment will be at Silver Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Pike County. Rev. Michael Perry and Rev. Wayne Hall will officiate the services.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Silver Creek Baptist Church.

Mrs. Joy lived a beautiful life surrounded by her family and grandchildren. There is nothing she wouldn't do for her family but also those around her. She was known for her graciousness, hospitality, and determination. Mrs. Joy devoted her career of over 30 years to education. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Malcom West; Mother, Grace Reno West; one Son, Stephen Rawson; one Sister, Gay West; one Brother, Lincoln West; one Grandson, Ryan Rawson.

She is survived by her Husband of 51 years, Barry K. Wallace; three Children, Robert L. Rawson, Jr. (Kim), Vanessa Green, Dr. Tom Wallace (Darien); one Brother, Stephen West; six Grandchildren, Kyle Wallace, Kallie Hopewell (Kyle), Jessica Greer (Joshua), Rachel Armitt (Allan), Stephen Green (Allie), Dr. Joshua Rawson; five Great-Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tom Wallace, Kyle Wallace, Stephen Green, Josh Greer, Brayden Greer, Kyle Hopewell.
