Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Joseph Rufus Louge, 75, of Kokomo, who passed away Friday, September 8, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital. Interment will be at Advance Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Nicholas Neese will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Annie "Bessie" Louge; brothers, Clyde Sherman Louge, Johnny Louge, Willie D. Louge, Ray Louge; sisters, Lillie May Louge, Bessie May; daughter, Waffle Denise Louge; uncle, Ollie Louge; and nephew, Clarence Louge.

He is survived by his sons, Quitman Louge (Cassandra) of Kokomo, Brian Louge (Tandy) of Columbia; twelve grandchildren, Brittany Louge, Kyle Louge, Tyler Phelps, Alex Louge, Javana Hunt, Makayla Hunt, Kole Louge, Cloie Louge, Trent Duplantis, Dylan Armstrong, Landon Blansett, Earl "Dog" Holmes; great grandson, Braxton Morgan; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Pierce, Mark Igleharte, Tyler Phelps, Earl Holmes, Alex Louge, Kyle Louge, Lee Cochran, and Gearld Jones.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kole Louge, Landon Blansett.
