A graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 27, 2019 at New Brushy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbia for Joicelyn Harriett Moree, 84 of Columbia, who passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at her residence. Interment will be at New Brushy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Doug Barber will officiate.

Mrs. Joicelyn was a long time resident of Marion County. She loved gospel music, playing the piano, and singing at church. She also loved making clothing for family and friends and taking on sewing projects. On occasion she would make wedding cakes. She loved her family and served God faithfully.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elisha and Julia Smith; daughter, Julia Moree; and son, Timothy Moree.

She is survived by her son, David Moree (Peggy) of Columbia; daughter, Beverly Dykes (Aaron) of Columbia; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Moree, Nathan Simmons, Alex Hodum, Austin Hodum, Aaron Dykes, and Hunter Cooper.
