A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Magnolia City Cemetery in Magnolia, Mississippi for Johnnie Martha Stout, 87, of Columbia, who passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021. Rev. Clint Bourn will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, July 9, 2021, at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia.

Johnnie was born in Pelahatchie, and later moved and raised her family in Mandeville, Louisiana. In 1989, she and her Husband, Ernest, moved to Magnolia, Mississippi. All who knew her recall her deep love and devotion to her family. She spent her life pouring into the lives of her children and grandchildren, and she loved the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Ernest Stout; her Parents, William & Odessa McMillan; one Daughter, Rita Populis; three Sisters, Geneva Conerly, Alma Partridge, Letha Hanson; and one Brother, Henry Hanson.

She is survived by two Sons, David Stout, of Columbia, Marshall Stout, of Magnolia; four Daughters, Linda Probst (Eddie), of Columbia, Pamela Hicks, of West Virginia, Sharon Craig (Danny), of Magnolia, Geneva Lightner (Joe), of North Carolina; twelve Grandchildren; and thirty-four Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Probst, Danny Craig, Davin Allen, Joseph Bybee, Joseph Populis, and Andy Hutson. Honorary pallbearers will be David Stout and Marshall Stout.

The family would like to extend special appreciation to the staff at The Myrtles Nursing Home in Columbia for their loving care over the past several years.
