Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Woodlawn Church in Columbia for Johnnie Gail Smith, 79, of Foxworth, who passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024 at his residence. Interment will be at Morgantown Cemetery in Foxworth. Pastor Jerron Carney will officiate the services. Bro. Justin Conway and Eric Toomer will provide special music. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Woodlawn Church.

Johnnie Gail was a beloved member of the Woodlawn Church community for 40 years. A devoted husband to Barbara, he was a loving father and a cherished grandfather. Johnnie was a passionate Harley Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed the camaraderie of fellow riders. With a warm smile and a friendly demeanor, he was known for his love of conversation and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

He was preceded in death by his Son, Wesley G. Smith; his Parents, Johnnie Prine & Dottice Irene Conerly Smith; and one Brother, Scottie Smith.

He is survived by his Wife of fifty-six years, Barbara Ruth Crawford Smith, of Foxworth; two Sons, Parrish S. Smith (Tara), of Columbia, Patrick J. Smith (Blake), of Columbia; five Grandchildren; one Sister, Jewell Powell (Donnie), of Morgantown; and one Sister-In-Law, Debbie Smith, of Morgantown.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons, Chandler Smith, Carter Smith; and Nephews, Michael McDaniel, Mitchell McDaniel, Terry Powell, Brett Powell.
