Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for John Benton Byram Sr., 82, of Columbia, who passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 at The Myrtles Nursing Home. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Bro. Kenny Peavey will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Mr. Byram was preceded in death by his parents, Aude and Lalla Byram; sister, JoAnn Monrow.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Fairley Byram of Columbia, MS; son, John Benton Byram, Jr. of Dennis, MS; daughter, Joyce McLemore of Ellisville, MS; step-sons, William E. Fairley of Beaumont, MS, and David L. Fairley of Columbia, MS; brother, Jim Byram of Dennis, MS; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Whitehead, Rob Zehenter, Kin Tines, Tom Porter, Len Cook, Jonathan Foxworth.
