Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Joel Thomas Pounds, 70, of Foxworth, who passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 at his residence. Interment will be at Lott Cemetery in Foxworth. Rev. Jimmy Bryant will officiate the services. Jimmy Bryant, Todd Pounds, and Trey Pounds will provide special music. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Leslie Pounds; Mother, Virgie Lee Stringer Pounds; Brother, Jack Pounds.

He is survived by his Wife, Gail Martin Pounds; Son, T. J. Pounds; three Grandchildren, Justin Pounds, Jenna Pounds and Jordyn Pounds; Brother, Jerrel Pounds; Great Grandchild, Brylon Pounds; three Nephews, Trey Pounds (Julie), Todd Pounds (Denea) and A host of nephews and nieces and friends.

Pallbearers will be Justin Pounds, Todd Pounds, Terry Pounds, Trey Pounds, Mike Lee, and Lane Buchner. Honorary pallbearers will be Lane Buckner, Paul Martin, Mike Martin, and Jerrel Pounds.
