Joe spent most of his life as a resident of Marion County, but graduated from Dexter High School where he played football. He married the love of his life, Gina Thomas, in 1988. Joe will be remembered as a good family man, provider, and one with a great sense of humor. To know him was to love him, because he was the kind of man that would offer the shirt off his back to anyone in need. For as long as the family can recall, Joe has always been a truck driver. Most recently, he was a dedicated driver/employee of Coastal Tie & Timber of Tylertown. Joe loved his daughters and was always involved with all of their sports and extra-curricular activities.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Walter & Daisy McNabb Miller; his Step-father, Aubrey Stilley; two Sisters, Agnes Breeland, Linda K. Robertson; one Niece, Pattie Frazier; and one Nephew, Charlie Miller.
He is survived by his Wife of 33 years, Gina Miller, of Foxworth; his two Daughters, Hollie Miller (Shane Kirk), Heather Miller (Jonah Wilks), both of Foxworth; one Brother, Buddy Miller, of Angie, Louisiana; three Sisters, Sadonna Stogner (Kenny), of Sandy Hook; Eula Blansett (Dewey), of Kokomo, Susie Miller, of Sandy Hook; his Mother-in-law, Maw Pat, of Bogalusa, Louisiana; three Brothers-in-law, Johnny Robertson, of Foxworth, Glen Breeland, of Foxworth, Chad Thomas (Linda), of Sun, Louisiana; one Sister-in-law, Tina Stewart (Trampus), of Thomas, Louisiana; Special Friends, Corey & Erin Michaels, of Columbia, Ryan & Jodie Shirley, of Columbia; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and a loving Racing Family.
Pallbearers will be Chad Thomas, Corey Michaels, Shane Kirk, Ryan Shirley, Dakota Breeland, Blaine Stewart, Daniel Herrera, and Jason Breeland. Drew Breeland will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
