Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for JoAnn McCann, 79, of Lumberton, who passed away Friday, October 14, 2022. Interment will be at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wesson; MS. Rev. Ron Alexander will officiate the services.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until 11:00 am on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Mrs. JoAnn lived a beautiful life of 79 years surrounded by her family whom she loved immensely. She called her Niece Judy who was like her sister along with other friends and family daily to talk on the phone, always keeping in touch. Her favorite pastime would be listening to her vast music collection. She had a room that was dedicated to her vinyl collections, which she turned to cassette tapes to CD's. She also enjoyed being outdoors and cooking for her family she adored.

Mrs. JoAnn will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She was preceded in death by her Father Earnest Weathersby; Mother, Willie Esther Tesley; two Brothers, Cecil Weathersby, Jake Weathersby; Effie Case, Margie Shows, Inez Clark, Earnestine Elkins

She is survived by her Husband of 38 years Terry McCann; one Daughter, Rhonda Roof (James); one Son, Steve Billetter (Janet); one Sister, Joy Reide (Joe); four Grandchildren, Christopher Grant (Rachel), Carrie Ann Moore (David), Samantha Rollins, Steven Billetter, Jr.; and a number of Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
