Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Joan Ethel Main, 92, of Columbia, who passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia. Rev. Reed Houston will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Joan was born in New Jersey on December 14, 1931. She had a long career in healthcare and retired as a nurse from Marion General Hospital. Joan was a faithful and beloved member of Chapel of the Cross United Methodist Church in Columbia.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Harry & Ethel Frint; one Son, Keith Main; and a number of Brothers & Sisters.

She is survived by her Son, Larry Main, of Columbia; two Grandchildren, Whitney Main (Cody Allen), of West Monroe, Louisiana, Brandon Main (April), of Kokomo; five Great Grandchildren, Carmen Perkins, Cayden Perkins, Micah Allen, Logan Main, Bralynn Main; and a number of Nieces & Nephews.
