A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Pleasant Hill Apostolic Church Cemetery in Columbia for Jim Edward Creel, 51, of Columbia, who passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020 at his residence. Bro. Carol Gatlin will officiate the service. Visitation will be held at the grave from 12:30 PM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 28, 2020.

As a longtime resident of Marion County, Jim loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He loved and cherished his family greatly. He was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Apostolic Church in Foxworth.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Shelton Creel; and one Sister, Tammy Rutland.

He is survived by Mother, Veta Creel of Columbia; two Daughters, Jasmine Dixon of Tylertown, Lenzie Creel of Tylertown; four Sons, Chris Creel of Tylertown Jacob Creel of Tylertown Cody Creel Tylertown Nate Creel of Tylertown; two Sisters, Debbie Reid (Jay) of Oklahoma, Peggy Sanford (Bill) of Hattiesburg; four Brothers, Prentiss Creel of Columbia Jessie Creel (Kim) of Columbia Tim Creel (Becky) of Foxworth John Creel of Tylertown; three Grandchildren, Bentley Dixon, Lincoln Dixon, Nova Dixon, all of Tylertown.
