Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Jeanette Lucille Singley, 94, of Columbia, who passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Leakesville Rehab & Nursing Center. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia. Rev. Bill Morris will officiate the services. Mike Riley, Sue Smith, Martha Bullock, Mattie Baughman, and Gayrn Baughman will provide special music.

The Singley family will receive friends Tuesday morning, beginning at 9:30 am until the hour of service at 11:00 am at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Jeanette was born on June 18, 1930, in Bogalusa, Louisiana. A loving mother, she lovingly assisted her husband, Lawrence, in his various business ventures and found joy in the beauty of nature, cultivating a flourishing garden with her remarkable green thumb. A faithful member of Enon Baptist Church, Jeanette lived a life devoted to her Christian faith, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion to the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her Husband of many years, Lawrence Singley; her Parents, Jessie & Effie Boone Williams; one Grandchild, Jeremy; two Brothers, Paul Williams, A.J. Williams; and one Sister, Lillie Mae Cleveland.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her two Sons, Steven Singley (Linda), of Hattiesburg, David Singley (Edgie), of Leesburg, Florida; three Grandchildren, Angie, Melinda, Melissa; and her five Great Grandchildren.

Mrs. Singley will be carried to her final rest by those honored to serve as pallbearers; they include Steve Hicks, Cole Robbins, Logan Dunn, Ronnie Tolar, Trent Tolar, and Will Simmons.
