Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Jean Carolyn Money, 86, of Columbia, who passed away Friday, April 26, 2024 at The Grove. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia. Bro. Chris Turnage will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jean loves to garden where she cooks all her produce once it came in. She was a nurse for 33 years and loved interacting with her patients.  One of her gifts was taking care of infants, loving and caring for them.  Very loved by many, she cared for her friends and loved to take care of one another.  Jean enjoyed her time in her yard working with her plants and watching wildlife.  Adored by her family, she gave all she could to their care and loved each of them dearly.

She was preceded in death by her Spouse, Billy Money; Son, Fredrick Money; three Daughters, Rose Money, Billie Jean Money and Debbie Money; Father, Champ Hamilton; Mother, Earlene Reid Hamilton; two Brothers, Larry Hamilton and Donny Hamilton.

She is survived by her Son, Michael Money (Darlene) of Dickson, TN; five Grandchildren, Michelle Money, Timmy Smith (Andrea), Billy Duff, Josh Smith and Kelly Money; Great Grandchild, Jarad Beal; Stetson Heggie, Chloe Heggie, Bo Heggie, Autumn Smith, T.J. Smith; Great-Great Grandchild Ensley Beal; and  A Host of Nephews and Nieces.

Pallbearers will be Jarad Beal, Timmy Smith, Billy Duff, and Josh Smith.
