Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Janis Price Stovall, 76, of Columbia, who passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Forrest General Hospital. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia. Rev. Jerron Carney will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

All that knew Janis recall how much fun she was to be around. As a registered nurse, she cared for many people over the course of her years. She was an avid gardener, and she enjoyed traveling to many different states with her husband, Kenny. She deeply loved her loved her Lord and her family.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Earl Ray Price, Sr.; her Mother, Kathleen Bozeman Price; one Nephew, Adam Wayne Price; and one Brother-In-Law, Danny Gail Haddox.

She is survived by her Husband, Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Stovall; two Brothers, Earl Ray Price, Jr. (Karen), Broward Wayne Price (Debbie Gail); twelve Nephews, Danny Ray Price (Janet), Andy Wayne Price, Alex Ray Price (Peyton), Drew Reagan Price, William Christopher Price, Porter Adam Price, Spencer Tate Stovall, Jory Christopher Haddox (Christie), Connor Christopher Haddox, Gunnar Haddox, Daniel Pierce, Isaac Pierce;  two Nieces, Amy Price, Shelbi Marie Stovall; one Brother-In-Law, Kevin Dale Stovall; and three Sisters-In-Law, Linda Bean Price, Beverly Stovall Haddox, Pamela Louise Stovall.

Pallbearers will be Ramie Watts Russell, James Marlon Broome, Danny Ray Price, Alex Ray Price, Dennis Gordon Pitts, and Spencer Tate Stovall. Honorary pallbearers will be Mims R. Russell III, Drew Reagan Price, Andy Wayne Price, Jamie Adam Fortenberry, Jory Christopher Haddox, and Thomas Newton Fortenberry.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Woodlawn Church, 1452 Old Hwy 98 E, Columbia, MS 39429 and Pine Grove Pentecostal Church, 761 Pine Grove Church Road, Foxworth, MS 39483.
