Funeral services will be held at 3:oo pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Janice Sanders, 88, of Columbia, who passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia. Bro. A. D. Gammill will officiate the services.

The Sanders family will receive guests on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Charles Rex Sanders; Daughter, Kathy Rexanne Sanders Ilgen; Parents, Aubrey and Kathryn Speer.

She is survived by her Husband, Jesse Torres of Columbia, MS; Daughters, Robin Parker of Arlington, TX, Carole Carroll (Gary) of Kenner, LA; Son-in-law, Stephen Ilgen of Kingwood, TX; Sister, Judy McGuyer Bridwell (Charles) of Terrell, TX; six Grandchildren; Hannah Ilgen (Steven), Emma Ilgen (Spencer), Olivia Parker (Jeff), Stephen Parker (Allie), Dylan Parker (Danielle), Daniell Parker; two Great Grandchildren, Rexli Buck and Holt Buck; and many Nieces and Nephews.

Mrs. Janice will be carried to her final resting place by those honored to serve as Pallbearers; Steven Parker, Steve Ilgen, Clay McGuyer, Keith Westmoreland, Eric Westmoreland, Steven Buck.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Craig Westmoreland, Mark Westmoreland and Kai McGuyer.
