Janice, one of 13 children, was married to her husband, Lester for 70 years. She loved her occupation of mother and wife but also worked side-by-side with her husband in his business and joined him in his love of and support for the University of Southern Miss.
Janice loved God, her church, and helping people. She modeled to her children, grandchildren and others the importance of being a Christian spouse and parent. One of the most important goals in her life was making God known and first in the lives of her loved ones: God first and then family.
She loved being a friend to all and talking with strangers, putting them at ease. A wonderful, much loved wife, mother, grandmother and friend who brought so much love, comfort and support to so many and is already missed so terribly much!
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Lester Haddox, Sr.; her Father, Henry Levi Lee, Sr.; her Mother, Eliza Jane Patterson Lee; and one Son-in-law, David Ellingburg.
She is survived by her two Sons, Lester Haddox, Jr. (Nancy), Keven Haddox (Anne); three Daughters, Lynn Culliver (James); Marla Ellingburg, Laura Manning (Bernie); seven Grandchildren, Amber Louviere (John), Dustin Ellingburg (Anna), Amy Gunnels (Lane), Josh Ellingburg (Kortnee), Amanda Harp (Greg), Haley Havens (Richard), Riane Crosby (Taylor); fourteen Great Grandchildren; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Pallbearers will be James Culliver, Bernie Manning, Dustin Ellingburg, John Louviere, Taylor Crosby, and Lane Gunnels. Honorary pallbearers will be Rhett Louviere, Dylan Ellingburg, Ken Knopp, Charlton Haddox, Richard Havens, Josh Ellingburg, and Greg Harp.
