As a lifelong resident of Marion County, Jim served our nation faithfully as a Sergeant in the United States Army. Talented and hardworking, Jim spent time as a truck driver, farmer, dairy farmer, bee keeper, and construction worker. He loved his farming and fishing and watching Lulu grow up. Many memories were made with his Grandchildren and Great Grands. Brittany Holmes was his "food guru," and he and Jimmy "Bubba" Holmes shared many cups of coffee together. Jim will forever be remembered as a loving, faithful husband that deeply loved his God and his church families at Dexter Pentecostal and Woodlawn Church.
