Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at New Brushy Creek Cemetery in Columbia, for Helen Sones Oglesbee, 78, of Columbia, who passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020. Bro. Brian Stewart will officiate.

As a longtime resident of Columbia, Helen was at one time a beautician, before embarking on her thirty-five year career in the healthcare industry. She worked as a nurse at The Family Clinic and The Grove Nursing Home. Caring for her patients, Helen always went the extra mile in making sure they had what they needed. In addition to her career impact, she will also be remembered for her love of the outdoors . . . hunting, fishing, and tending to her flowers. Helen loved her family and her Lord very deeply, and she was a faithful member of North Columbia Baptist Church.

Ms. Oglesbee was preceded in death by her Parents, Ben & Lila Sones; two Sons, Kenneth Oglesbee, John Oglesbee; one Sister, Lorena Smith; and two Brothers, Ray Sones, Paul Sones.

She is survived by her Son, Brian Oglesbee (Sherri); one Grandson, Cole Oglesbee (Keleigh); two Great-Grandchildren, Warren Oglesbee, Sawyer Oglesbee; one Brother, Robert Sones; and a number of Nieces and Nephews.
