Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Hazel L. Johnson, 83, of Columbia, who passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024. Interment will be at Crossroad Church Cemetery in Carson. Rev. Darrell Daniels will officiate the services.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her Husband of 52 years, Thurman Johnson; Parents, John B. May & Bernice May; one Sister, Winnie "Jo" Davis; one Great-Grandson, Kannon Fortenberry; one Great-Great Grandson, Jack Jennings.

She is survived by her six Children; Lawana Manata, Debra "Debbie" Garner, Mike Johnson, Samantha "Sam" Meidl (Bob), Kimberly "Kim" Johnson, Steve Johnson (Michelle); one Sister, Shirley McNease; fifteen Grandchildren and a number of Great and Great-Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Meidl, Gerald Meidl, Jason Meidl, Keith Garner, Scott Garner, Brennan Malley. Honorary pallbearers will be Branton Malley, Braxton Malley, Rusty O'Quin.
