Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Mrs. Gwendolyn Williamson, 75, of Sumrall, who passed away Monday, December 26, 2022. Interment will be at Rocky Branch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Sumrall. Bro. Len Cooke will officiate the services.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday, December 29, 2022 and again on Friday December 30 ^th from 11:00 am until service time at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Williamson lived a beautiful life surrounded by her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time gardening, growing flowers and reading. She devoted over 28 years to Marion General Hospital as a Registered Nurse.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Ralph G. Williamson; Father, Berlie Thomas; Mother, Ruby Thomas.

She is survived by her two Sons, Jeff Williamson (Lisa); Aaron Williamson (Michele); one Sister, Jill Fortenberry (Todd); four Grandchildren, Heather Williamson, Lauren Williamson Giardelli (Tyler), Katherine Williamson, Maria Williamson; one Great Grandson, Theodore Giardelli; one Niece, Ashley Williamson (Ryan).

Pallbearers will be Herbert Williamson, Ryan Williamson, John Hathorn, Greg Patterson, Todd Fortenberry, Tommy Riley .
