Glyn Belton Porter's Obituary
A private family graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Glyn Belton Porter, 100, of Columbia, who passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020. Interment will be at Cook Family Cemetery. Bro. Kenny Peavey will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his Wife of 71 years, Julia Porter; his Parents, Walter & Everlena Porter; one Son, Glyn B. Porter, Jr.; and one Sister, Evelyn Tyler.
He is survived by three Daughters, Gail Landrum, of Dallas, Texas, Gloria Parhan (George), of Clinton, Lynn English (Edward), of Columbia; one Son, Tom Porter (Renee), of Columbia; one Daughter-in-law, Mary Kat Porter; ten Grandchildren, Scott Landrum (Brenda), Craig Landrum (Kristi), Russell Shaw (Kathy), Adam Porter (Paige), Dave Porter (Mary Lauren), Warren English (Ashley), Tucker English (Morgan), Julia Foxworth (Jonathan), Javan Porter (Natalie), Jalyn Porter; and ten Great Grandchildren.
The Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
