A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm at Oakland Cemetery in Oakland, Mississippi  on Saturday, December 6, 2025 for Georgetta Lucille Kuykendall, 95, of Columbia, who passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at The Grove. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery in Oakland. Rev. Reed Houston will officiate the services.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, William Thomas Kuykendall;  two Sons, William David Kuykendall and Patrick Lee Kuykendall;  Father, George Herman Jorgenson;  Mother, Henrietta Stock Jorgenson;  four Brothers, Jerry Jorgenson, Ralph "Pete" Jorgenson, David Jorgenson and Ronnie Jorgensen;  Sister, Jennie Henderson;  two Grandchildren, Thomas "Kirk" Kuykendall, Jr., Molly Magee Carey.

She is survived by her Son, Mike Kuykendall (Sharon) of Columbia, MS;  Daughter, Susan Kay Kuykendall of Starkville, MS;  six Grandchildren, Katherine Ann Magness (Troy), Philip Laughlin (Jeanie), Abigail Laughlin, Patrick Lee Kuykendall, Jr. (Sara), Peter William Kuykendall (Shelby) and Mary Chatham Kuykendall;  eleven Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Columbia Presbyterian Church, 500 church Street, Columbia, MS 39429, or Starkville Presbyterian Church 280 Linden Circle, Starkville, MS  39759.
