Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Freddie Fay Terry, 91, of Foxworth, who passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023. Interment will be at Foxworth Cemetery in Foxworth. Brother Houston Reed will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 1:30 until 3:30 on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Freddie Fay Terry was born June 1, 1931, and was raised in the Kokomo Community of Marion County, Mississippi. She was a devoted loving wife to her husband Richard for 64 years. She had a special relationship with her nephew Nicholas Rayborn. She was an active member of the Foxworth Methodist Church.  She is often remembered for owning Terry's Grocery for over 10 years in Foxworth,  Everyone enjoyed her homemade cooking.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Collins & Dessie Pittman; two Sisters, Kathleen Pittman Morgan, Eltie Pittman Brumfield; and one Brother, Edward Pittman.

Fay is survived by her devoted Husband, Richard Terry, of Foxworth; her Son, Mike Leggett (Suzie); four Grandchildren, Jedediah Leggett, Jesse Leggett, Judah Leggett, Johnathan Leggett; Nieces & Nephews, Ken Morgan (Wanda), Larry Morgan (Mary Ann), Marc Terry, Kimberly Terry Harrington (Derrell); and Great Nieces & Nephews, Louis Morgan, Krae Morgan (Maggie), Ava Rayborn, Nicholas Rayborn.

Pallbearers will be Hilton Holmes, Ken Morgan, Krae Morgan, Trent Parker, Dalen Pierce, and Randall Terry.  Honorary Pallbearer will be John L. May.
