Obituary

A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia for Freddie Ray Coker, 77, of Columbia, who passed away Friday, November 25, 2022. Rev. Tommy Broom will officiate the services.

Freddie spent his working career as a printer with Calendar Stationary in Columbia and Delta Printing of Bogalusa. He loved hunting and fishing, in particular, bow hunting. He killed 131 deer with his bow. As an avid archer, Freddie was a member of the Little River Bowman Archery Club from a young age. He also enjoyed working on bows for family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Zeno & Jonnie Williams Coker;  three Brothers, George William Coker, Joseph William Coker, Ford Wallace Coker; and beloved bonus Child, Timothy Stringer.

He is survived by his Wife, Lisa Coker, of Columbia; his Son, Clint Coker (Suzy), of Monticello; his Step-Daughter, Amanda Bergeron (Lance), of Columbia;  two Grandchildren, Bailey Coker, Maddie Coker, both of Petal; one Brother, Bobby Glen Coker (Jean), of Bakersfield, California;  one Sister, Frankie Carlene Harris (Bill), of Plano, Texas; and numerous Nieces & Nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Columbia Animal Shelter, 177 Airport Road, Columbia, Mississippi 39429.
