Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday , October 25, 2024 at Jesus Name Apostolic Church in Foxworth for Frank D. Powell, Sr., 88, of Foxworth, who passed away Monday, October 21, 2024 Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Apostolic Church Cemetery in Foxworth. Rev. C.A. Gatlin will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am Thursday, October 24, 2024 up until service time on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Jesus Name Apostolic Church.

Mr. Powell lived a beautiful life surrounded by his family and grandchildren. He was a faithful lifetime member of Pleasant Hill Apostolic Church. Mr. Powell served our great nation in the U.S. Navy. One of his favorite things to do was to travel. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Lula Sue Powell; Parents, Berley A. Powell & Leatha B. Powell; two Brothers, Berley Powell, Odell Powell; two Sisters, Selma Ruth Roberts, Ethel Maxine Jones; one Grandson, Ryan Bourgoyne.

He is survived by his four Children; Susan "Gail". Bourgoyne (Charles), Frank D. Powell, Jr., Sandy Powell, Tony D. Powell (Dena); one Sister, Pat Slocum; eight Grandchildren and ten Great-Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tripp Powell, Conner Hall, Nathan Hall, Latrell Slocum, Phillip Slocum, Pierre Danette. Honorary pallbearers will be Nolbert Blanchard, Landy Slocum, Channing Powell.
