Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Frances "Pansy" Peavy, 77, of Columbia, who passed away Friday, February 6, 2026 at Forrest General Hospital. Interment will be at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbia. Rev. Dave Nichols will officiate the services. Scott Oliver will provide special music. Visitation will be held from 8:30 am until 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Allen Darr; Mother, Lucy Rankin Darr; two Brothers, George "Sonny" Darr, Charles "Buddy" William Darr; four Sisters, Patsy Taylor, Barbara Sue Darr, Betty Stringer (Leroy), Mary Allen Darr and Joe Ann Franklin (James).

She is survived by her Husband of 43 years, Shelton Peavy of Columbia, MS; Daughter, Dana Darr of Columbia, MS; two Brothers, John Darr (Kiok) of Columbus, GA and Donald Darr (Carol) of Rockmart, GA; Sister, Linda Taylor of Columbia, MS; A host of nephews, nieces, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Drew Carpenter, Michael Darr, George Darr Jr., Zachary Popwell, Chase Franklin, and James Darr.
