A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia for Elmer A. Speer, 93, of Canton, who passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at The Nichols Center. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia . Rev. Brian Stewart will officiate the services.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Bertha Louise Burrows Speer;  Father, Arnold  Speer;  Mother, Bertha  Speer Jordan;  Brother, Hershel Speer;  Sister, Evelyn Roark.

He is survived by his Son, Mike Speer (Lee) of Canton, MS;  two Grandchildren, Josh Speer (Katie) and Machell Rodriguez (Dan);  three Great Grandchildren, Mackenzie Speer, Michael Speer and AJ  Rodriguez;  Nephew, A host of nephews, nieces and friends.
