A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Good Hope Cemetery in Columbia for Edward Earl McVay, Sr., who passed away Friday, January 22, 2022.  Interment will be at Good Hope Cemetery.  Bro. Chris Turnage will officiate.

Mr. Edward was an avid LSU and New Orleans Saints fan who cheered for his teams with pride and admiration.  He was a hard worker and enjoyed reading, fishing, playing poker, and gardening.  He liked to spend his spare time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Marjorie McVay; brothers, Carl McVay, Clarence McVay, Jr., David McVay; sister: Linda Juraszek.

He is survived by his sons, Edward McVay, Jr. (Amanda); Ricky McVay (Miranda); daughter, Kristina McVay; one brother, Sam McVay; seventeen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
