Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Earnestine Alderman, 84, of Columbia, who passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024. Bro. Dewitt Bain will officiate the services. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Earnestine was born in Marion County and spent most of her life here and in the Mt. Gilead community. She had a long career in healthcare, serving as an LPN, Respiratory Therapist, and ending her career with the Women's Clinic of Hattiesburg's Columbia office. She was also a proud breast cancer survivor of forty-six years.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Harvey Alderman; her Parents, Clifton & Lois Moree Williams; and her Brother, Rhua Dale Williams.

She is survived by her Son, Keith Alderman (Lee Anne), of Southaven;  two Grandchildren, Andrew Alderman (Susan), of Nesbit, Kallen Alderman, of Oxford; and two Great Grandchildren, Zoe Rose Alderman, Maor Fordie Alderman, both of Nesbit.
