Born on November 2, 1926 in Buffalo, Kentucky, Doyle later became an elementary school teacher. She taught in a tiny, one-room school house in Hardin County, Kentucky. In 1958, she and her husband, V.A. "Tiger" Bradshaw, moved to south Mississippi.
She truly had a sweet spirit, and was kind to everyone she met. She dearly loved her family and was an inspiration to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bridge and visiting with her dear friends. Doyle's faith was very important to her, and she was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church of Columbia, Mississippi. She will be greatly missed, but there is comfort in knowing she is reunited with Tiger and in the presence of Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Jackson Brown & Elizabeth Jane Stewart Brown, of Larue County, Kentucky; and her husband, V.A. "Tiger" Bradshaw.
She is survived by her son, Jack Bradshaw (Becky); her daughter, Bobbi Jo Ball; her sister, Bobby Ann Johnson; six Grandchildren, Stephanie Herzig (Marcus), Michael Bradshaw (Ashley), Kasey Ball (Danielle), Jory Ball, Brendan Ball, and Dillon Ball; five Great Grandchildren, Benjamin Baughman (Courtney), Jordan Barber, Louisa Herzig, Amy Bradshaw, Jack Bradshaw; and two Great-Great Grandchildren, Blaine & Riley Baughman; and a host of nieces and nephews in Kentucky.
The family wishes to extend deep appreciation to Doyle's caregivers, Carol Pace, Wanda Pace, Pat Clements, Beverly Rawls, Essie Slocum. Their genuine love and care filled Doyle's last eight years with love and laughter leaving the family with cherished memories.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church in Columbia, Mississippi
