Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at First Pentecostal Church of Sumrall for Douglas Hibley, 47, of Sumrall, who passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Interment will be at First Pentecostal Church of Sumrall Cemetery. Rev. Clint Bourn and Rev. W.D. Hibley will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at First Pentecostal Church of Sumrall.

Douglas was a longtime resident of Sumrall and loved his family immensely. He was an avid hunter. Utilizing his creativity and detailed craftsmanship, Douglas enjoyed working with his hands. He created knives and many other things out of wood. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He was preceded in death by his Son, Dalton Hibley; and one Daughter, Hope Hibley.

He is survived by his Daughter, Hannah Bourn (Todd); one Son, Ranjer Hibley; Spouse and Mother to their children, Beth Hibley; Parents, Therrel & Betty Hibley; one Brother, Willis Hibley; one Sister, Lenore Hibley Hudson; one Niece, Savanna Hudson; one Nephew, Mason Hudson.

Pallbearers will be Ranjer Hibley, Mason Hudson, Willis Hibley, Jay Foster, Allen Foster, James Stewart.
