Douglas was a man who found his greatest peace in the heart of the woods and the quiet of the pasture. An avid outdoorsman, Douglas' soul was most at home when he was scouting for deer, tracking the elusive "big buck," or casting a line into a favorite fishing hole. Whether he was tending to his cows at daybreak or navigating the rugged terrain of a hunt, he lived in harmony with the land he loved so much. While his passion for the wild was eclipsed only by the unwavering love he held for his family. Douglas leaves behind a legacy of strength, simple pleasures, and a profound respect for nature that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
