Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Dorothy "Dot" Dawsey, 82, of Columbia, who passed away Friday, February 28, 2020 at her residence. Interment will be at White Bluff Cemetery. Bro. Vince Lee and Bro. Daniel Lee and will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, William & Sarah Knight; one Brother, Billy Gene Knight; and one Grandchild, Chris Miles.

She is survived by two Daughters, Rene Miles (Johnnie), of Columbia, Lee Speer (Mike), of Canton; one Son, Terry Dawsey (Wanda), of Foxworth; Father of her Children, Gene Dawsey, of Columbia; one Brother, Travis Knight, of Gautier; five Grandchildren, Amy McKenzie (Justin), of Columbia, Jolie Mullins (Steve), of Foxworth, Tyler Dawsey (Angelia), of Columbia, Josh Speer (Katie), of Canton; Machell Rodriguez (Dan), of Fort Riley, Kansas; and a number of Great Grandchildren.
