Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Caney Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumberton for Doris May, 82, of Lumberton, who passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020. Bro. Blake McDaniel will officiate.

As a longtime resident of Baxterville, Mrs. May loved planting flowers and tending her garden. Some of her favorite hobbies included crocheting, sewing, and traveling. She was a faithful member of Caney Baptist Church all of her life. Her family and friends will always remember her as being an amazing mother and a loving wife. While deeply missed, her legacy of loving faithfulness will carry on long into the future.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Clifton May; her Parents, Wiley & Flora Smith; and seven Siblings. She is survived by her four Daughters, Helen Sistrunk, Kathy Laird (Tim), Joy Morrow (Jerry), Kim Huntington (David); and two Siblings.

Pallbearers will be Josh Loper, Lynn Smith, John O'Brian, J.D. O'Brian, Ebb Yates, and Andrew Howard. Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Howard and Payton Howard.
