Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 03, 2023 at Pine Burr Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Columbia for Dicie Ellen Swayze, 73, of Sumrall, who passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023 at her residence. Interment will be at Pine Burr Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Columbia. Rev. Daniel Livingston, Rev. WD Hibley, and Rev. Dustin Hibley will officiate the services. Tilly Clinton, Vicky Gatwood, Tammy Bass, Emily Hibley, Ottie Sutton, Pam Livingston, and Marlana Hudson will provide special music. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her two Sons, Carlton Swayze, Jr., Michael Wayne Swayze; Father, Willis Hibley; Mother, Ottie Johnson Hibley; Grandchild, Carlton Leo Swayze, III; six Brothers, John Henry Hibley, Bobby Hibley, Willie Earl Hibley and Ted Hibley, Houston Hibley, Therrel Hibley; Sister, Dorothy Hibley.

She is survived by her Son, Steven Ray Swayze (Tracy) of Sumrall, MS; two Brothers, Bill Hibley (Carolyn) of Ponchatula, LA and Rev. W D Hibley (Teresa) of Pineburr, MS; Daughter-In-Law, Mona Swayze, nine grandchildren and five great grand children.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Sanford, Russell Delancey, Billy Hibley, Billy Anderson, Jeremiah Sutton, and Buddy Hibley. Honorary pallbearers will be Willis Hibley and Connor Swayze.
