Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 03, 2023 at Improve Baptist Church in Columbia for David A. Williams, 76, of Sumrall, who passed away Friday, December 30, 2022 at his residence. Interment will be at Improve Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbia. Bro. Darel Daniels and Rev. Jason Matheny will officiate the services. Caleb Matheny and Sarah Matheny will provide special music. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Improve Baptist Church.

Mr. David loved the outdoors where he preferred to be hunting and fishing.  As an outdoorsman he spent numerous hours enjoying the peace and serenity of his surroundings.  As a husband, he adored his wife and loved his children and grandchildren.  Also, he enjoyed the companionship of his dog (Queenie).

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Bridget Williams; Father, James Luther Williams; Mother, Ona Dell Yates Williams.

He is survived by his Wife, Patsy Miller Williams of Sumrall, MS; two Sons, Brad Williams (Melissa) and Jammy Little (Kerri); Brother, Willie Williams; Granddaughter, Tori Williams; and five Grandsons, Alex Little (Abby), Travis Little (Avery), Cade Williams, Billy Mauldin (Bella) and Levi Mauldin.

Pallbearers will be Alex Little, Travis Little, Cade Williams, Cory Matheny, Mike Miller, and Chris Matheny. Honorary pallbearers will be Hubby Griner, Mark McDaniel, and David McNeese.
