A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Improve Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbia for David Lavon Stringer, 69 of Columbia, who passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at his residence. Interment will be at Improve Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Darel Daniels will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Minnie Ruth Stringer; and brother, Bill Stringer.

He is survived by his sons, Clint Stringer (Bridgette) of State Line, Chey Stringer (Ginger) of Petal; sister, Shirley Ann Raybourn (Glenn) of Columbia; grandchildren, Chase Stringer of Wichita, KS, Britt Stringer of Petal, Colton Stringer of State Line, Brogan Stringer of Petal, BelleAnn Stringer of State Line; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Stringer, Jason Raybourn, Kyle Miller, Chase Stringer, Colton Stringer, Britt Stringer, and Brogan Stringer.
