Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home for David Eugene Dixon, 40, of Columbia, who passed away Monday, September 25, 2023. Rev. Gatlin will officiate the services.  Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Mr. Dixon loved spending time with his family. He was known to joke around and have fun. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He was preceded in death by his Step-Father, Arthur Harrell; Grandparents, Ray & Merry Terry; Grandparents, James & Bessie Taylor; Step-Grandparents W.C. & Roberta Harrell, one Grandfather, Tebo Dixon; two Sisters, Hazel Harrell, Amy Harrell; one Niece, Mia Trujillo.

He is survived by his Mother, Annette Harrell; Father, James Taylor (Charity); his Companion, Angela Lowery; one Step-Daughter, LaShonda Johnson; three Brothers, Jamie Taylor (Karen), Ryan Harrell, Jody Taylor; two Sisters, Tabitha Taylor (Salvador), Stephanie Hernandez (Miguel), one Grandson, Stanley Eugene and a number of Nieces and Nephews, along with his 3 dogs, Bella, Axel and Piper and 1 cat, Nova.
