A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Pine Bluff Cemetery in Hazlehurst, MS, for Danny Lavern Johnson, 66, of Kokomo, who passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at Merit Health Central in Jackson, MS. Interment will be at Pine Bluff Cemetery. Bro. Mike Grenn and Bro. Tommy Stogner will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Pine Bluff Cemetery.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, Lavern Johnson; step-brother, Eugene Porter.

He is survived by his daughter, Meghann White; parents, Bill and Annette Porter; grandchildren, Annaleigh White, Allayna White, Megan Danielle, and Avery Mitchell; step-brothers, Robert Paul Porter (Samantha), James Alan Porter (Robin); step-sister, Sandra Porter; step-niece, Shannon Ohnheiser; uncle, Jimmy Cooper; cousins; Richard Dunaway (Kathy), Cindy Maluska (Mark), Amber Maluska; and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Tim Pray, Blaze Tullos, Gerald Broom, Bobby Rae Greer, Billy Wayne Powell, Duane Hibley, and Tony Wilks. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robin Long and Bill Parker.
