Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Danny Lee Delancey, 69, of Columbia, who passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Merritt Health. Interment will be at a family cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Delancey; mother, Maxie Delancey Motts; sister, Rachel Wilks; and brother Johnny Ray Delancey.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Stacey Delancey of Columbia; children, Kim White Creel of Columbia, Kelly Conley (Noami) of Vancleave, Rebecca King (Boyd) of Sandy Hook; Danny Delancey, Jr. of Kokomo, Danielle Creel (Joseph) of Purvis, Earnest Delancey of Columbia, Joseph Delancey of Columbia, Jessica Carroll (Russell) of Columbia, Tabitha Delancey of Columbia, Victoria Baughman of Columbia, David Delancey of Columbia, and RenesaMae Delancey of Columbia; siblings, Tommy Delancey of Bogalusa, LA, Wanda Delancey of Hammond, LA, and Melissa Morgan (Ronald) of Columbia; twenty-five grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Lott, Justin Butler, Josh Miller, Darrell Meaux, Sr., Joseph Creel, Sr., Greg Brown, Joey Singley, and Allen Entrekin.
