Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Bunker Hill Jesus Name Church Cemetery in Columbia for Daisy Rae Smith, 78, of Columbia, who passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020. Bro. Jimmy Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia.

Mrs. Smith was a longtime resident of Columbia, and she loved cooking and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling to the mountains, tending to her garden, planting flowers, as well as feeding birds. Mrs. Daisey was a faithful member of Bunker Hill Jesus Name Apostolic Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her Parents, Abe & Betty Johnson; two Brothers, Bob Johnson, Jimmy Johnson; and one Great Granddaughter, Nene Smith.

She is survived by her Husband of 59 years, Ray Smith, of Columbia; four Sons, Austin Smith (Tina), of Columbia, Troy Smith, of Columbia, David Smith, of Columbia, Jeff Smith, of Columbia; seven Grandsons, Anthony Ward, Ryan Smith (Dalena), Nathaniel Smith, Billy Smith, John "Scooter" Smith, Caleb Smith, David Young; two Granddaughters, Deandra Smith, Sarah Smith; and a number of Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Austin Smith, David Smith, Jeff Smith, Ryan Smith, Nathaniel Smith, and Anthony Ward.
