As a life-long resident of Marion County, Clifton was a very outgoing person that loved visiting with his family and friends. He enjoyed making trips to the mountains. Many can attest to the great deal of time he spent keeping up with and researching his family's genealogy. The family credits him with helping to write "The Broom Family Book." Clifton served our nation faithfully in the United States Army and Air Force, and he was a World War II Veteran.
