Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Foxworth First Baptist Church for Charles Augustus Lindberg Poole, 98, of Foxworth, who passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at The Myrtles Nursing Home. Interment will be at Foxworth Cemetery. Rev. Tyler Chavis will officiate the services.

The Poole family will receive friends on Monday morning, beginning at 9:00 am up until the hour of service of 11:00 am at Foxworth First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Lovie Spears Poole; his Father, Elijah Bud Poole; his Mother, Elizabeth Lizzie Thompson Poole; and one Brother, Virgil Poole.

He is survived by his two Sons, Charles Allen Poole, of Foxworth, Destry Elijah Poole (Michelle), of Foxworth; his Daughter, Sharon Simmons, of Foxworth; seven Grandchildren, Rachel Simmons, Shane Turner (Erin), Magan Carter, Madison Magee, Morgan Poole, Skye Vallient (Austin), Storm Poole; fourteen Great-Grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.

Mr. Poole will be carried to his final rest by those honored to serve as pallbearers; they include Ricky Carney, Neal Foxworth, Bobby Nichols, Terry Robinett, David Spiers, and Hughgene Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be the Old Men's Class, Don Johnson, Charles Pittman, Keith Armstrong, Gary Barber, Tommy Bourne, Jesse Elmore, Kim Ramshur, Winford Powell, and Reggie Turnage.
