Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Charles Clifford Kendrick, 81, of Columbia, who passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Bro. Millard Moak will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

As a longtime resident of Columbia, Clifford was a retired Teacher and Coach from the Marion County School District. He was also a Vo-tech and Academic Counselor. He served his nation faithfully and retired from the United States Army National Guard. The family fondly remembers his love of teaching, subbing, and taking care of his family.

Clifford was preceded in death by his Father, Ezell Kendrick; and his Mother, Alene Alexander King.

He is survived by his Wife of 61 years, Barbara Lee Kendrick, of Columbia; his Daughter, Donna McKenzie, of Columbia; his Son, Chris Kendrick (Dana), of Columbia; one Brother, Crawford Kendrick (Voncille), of Ocean Springs; and three Grandchildren, Nathan McKenzie, of Columbia, Dallas Kendrick, of Ocean Springs, and Aaron McKenzie, of Columbia.

Pallbearers will be Aaron McKenzie, Nathan McKenzie, Tim Miller, Randy Dyess, Rick Hall, and Bill Boutwell.
