Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Charlene Goar, 93, of Columbia, who passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at The Myrtles Nursing Home. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia. Bro. Tom Thurman and Bro. Mike Everett will officiate the services. Chris Turnage will provide special music. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Royce Goar; Father, Charles Kerns; Mother, Sibyle Underwood Kerns; Brother, Buddy Kerns.

She is survived by her Son, Royce Edward Goar (Brenda); two Grandchildren, Beth Polk (Chance) and Amanda Cubley (David); three Great Grandchildren, Carlie Fortenberry, Ava Cubley and Cooper Cubley; And a Host of Nephews and Nieces.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Tolar, David Cubley, and Chance Polk.
