Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Cecil Dean Miller, Jr., 64, of Petal, who passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 at his residence. Interment will be at Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Brian Malone will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Mr. Dean was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  He was kind, honorable, and the backbone of the family.  He worked hard and was a great caregiver and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil Miller, Sr., Lavonna Miller; Step-daughter, Melissa Wormser; Sister, Sue Stogner; Brother, David Miller

He is survived by his wife, Martha Miller of Petal; sons, Bradley Miller and Jeremy Miller both of Leesville, LA.; step-daughters, Carmen Moseley and Jamie Gipson both of Petal; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Miller, Jeremy Miller, Tyler Wormser, K. J. Breeden, Brandon Halcomb, Landon Miller.
