A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbia for Cecelia Darlene Case Gipson, 68, of Columbia, who passed away Friday, November 29, 2019 at Forrest General Hospital. Bro. Mike Grenn will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Columbia.

Known to her family and friends as "Momma D," she enjoyed reading, sitting on her back porch watching her hummingbirds, cooking and baking, decorating for the holidays and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Husband of 41 years, James Russell "Ruff" Gipson; her Parents, Pat Harold & Margaret Lucille Case.

She is survived by one Son, Thomas Patrick Gipson (Katrina), of Magee; one Daughter, Melissa Ann Jones (Chris), of Pascagoula; one Brother, Richard Harold Case, of Maryville, Tennessee; six Grandchildren, Connor Scott Jones, Tristan Zachariah Jones, Shyanne Baleigh Gipson, Ashlynn Hope Gipson, Kayce Leighann Gipson, John Patrick Gipson; and her dear friend, Sue Robbins.
