Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Catherine Earline McIntosh, 73, of Foxworth, who passed away Monday, May 24, 2021. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia. Bro. Earl Lane Turnage will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home.
Catherine was born and raised in Marion County. Those who knew her remember her outgoing personality. She loved driving and visiting with friends and family. She enjoyed cooking, and her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren were her greatest joy in life. Catherine spent many years working at East Marion Elementary School. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Mack Pittman; her Parents, Sexton & Hattie Lucille Holmes Little; and one Son, Marvin Ray Pittman.
She is survived by four Sons, Mark Pittman, of Foxworth, Marshall Pittman (Kim), Kokomo, Mike Pittman (Tina), of Columbia, Raymond Pittman (Tonya), of Sumrall; three Daughters, Lisa Faye Pittman, of Covington, Louisiana, Theresa Cox (Jolly), of Kokomo, Melissa Ann Pittman Turnage (Billy), of Foxworth; two Brothers, James Little, of Columbia, Warner Little, of Columbia; two Sisters, Patricia Cook, of Columbia, Shelby Jean Martin, of Sandy Hook; 15 Grandchildren; and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Wheat, Jolly Cox, Donald Sawin, Bailey Pittman, Lavelle Lowery, and Kyle Morris. Gavin McRaney will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
