Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Carolyn Frances Carter, 83, of Oak Vale, who passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at her residence. Interment will be at Society Hill Cemetery. Bro. Tommy Stogner will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her first husband, D.L. Langston, Sr.; second husband, Lester Eddie Carter; father, Frank Beard; mother, Lucille Beard.

She is survived by her daughters, Janette Nolan (Bill) of Columbia, MS, Diane Schepemaker (Rob) of Oak Vale, MS; grandsons, Dan Schepemaker (Paris), Michael Schepemaker (Amy); granddaughter, Leah Nolan; great grandchildren, Ava Schepemaker, Petra Schepemaker, Finn Schepemaker, Jonah Schepemaker, Olive Schepemaker.

Pallbearers will be Rob Schepemaker, Bill Nolan, Dan Schepemaker, Michael Schepemaker.
