Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Carl Duane Stanbro, 88, of Columbia, who passed away Monday, September 18, 2023 at his residence. Interment will be at Bunker Hill Cemetery in Columbia. Rev. Kenny Roberts will officiate the services.  will provide special music. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Stanbro; mother, Mamie Stanbro; two brothers, Lyle Stanbro and Richard Stanbro.

He is survived by his spouse, Roxie Stanbro of Columbia, MS; two sons, Michael Stanbro and Jeffrey Stanbro; daughter, Carla Stanbro; two brothers, Kenneth Stanbro, Douglas Stanbro; sister, Janice Ortel.
